Voodoo Doughnut at CityWalk
Universal City, CA
2,400 square feet
NBCUniversal selected Pacific National Group as general contractor for construction of the first Voodoo Doughnut in California at the famed Universal CityWalk in Hollywood. Voodoo Doughnut, a Portland-based shop, is well-known for its unique doughnuts and colorful store décor.
The $1.5M remodel project transformed a 2,400 SF former retail store into a fully-functioning, Voodoo doughnut-producing enterprise. The project consisted of shell demolition, full MEP redesign, state-of-the-art kitchen design, front-of-house Voodoo Doughnut themed POS locations and retail displays, Stumptown Coffee bar, exterior signage package, and a Voodoo coffin, which also acts as a wedding altar.
Voodoo Doughnut’s CityWalk location opened its doors on Thursday, March 9th and quickly received rave reviews, with excitement felt from Southern California to Portland, Oregon.
